Gateways world renowned speakers, such as Rabbi Mordechai Becher, Rabbi Jonathan Rietti, Rabbi Yonosan Shippel & Founder & Director Rabbi Mordechai Suchard are joined by Rabbi YY Rubinstein, Rav & Dayan of Johannesburg Rav Tzaddok Shmuel Suchard, The Rosh HaYeshiva of Skokie Yeshiva HaRavAvraham Friedman and from Israel Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky to provide our guests with presentations and shiurim that are second to none.

This Pesach will introduce brand new and exciting classes and courses that have never been presented at Gateways. Participants will have an opportunity to complete courses by our world renowned experts in fields such as Spirituality & Mysticism, Kabbalah, Da MahShetashiv, Parenting and others. You’ll walk away feeling accomplished and having tools for life.

Rabbi Avraham Friedman

Rabbi Avraham Friedman

Rabbi Friedman is the Rosh HaYeshiva of Beis Hamedrash L’Torah (the Skokie Yeshiva). He has also served as the Mashgiach Ruchani of the yeshiva and has taught a popular blatt shiur for 30 years. Previously, Rabbi Friedman taught in Israel in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh and he also taught in Los Angeles in Yeshiva University of L.A. He received his semicha from Harav Betzalel Zolti, the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem and from Harav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg who served on the Beis Din Hagodol of Israel. He has written many Torah journals on a number of mesectos.

Mr. Charlie Harary, Esq.

Charlie J. Harary is a prolific speaker who has traveled all over the country and abroad speaking for organizations, schools, universities and institutions on a variety of topics and to audiences of various sizes and affiliations. He has created dozens of videos that have received worldwide attention reaching hundreds of thousands of people in over 15 countries. He is also a Senior Lecturer for the Orthodox Union, Aish Hatorah and NCSY.

Mr. Harary is the First Vice President of Residential Operations and Legal Counsel of RXR Realty, a multi-billion dollar Real Estate Company based in New York. Prior to RXR, Mr. Harary was an associate in Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Davis Polk & Wardwell. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was awarded the James Kent Scholar and the Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Mr. Harary received a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from Queens College, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Harary is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is admitted to the Bar of New York.

Mr. Harary is an active community leader. He is a member of the Executive Board of the OU as well as the Founding Chairman of its Young Leadership Cabinet. He is also a member of the Conference of Young Jewish Presidents.

Mr. Harary is the founder of Milvado Inc., an organization that develops innovative methods to teach spirituality in relevant and modern ways.

Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky

Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky

Rabbi Orlofsky is a former regional director for the National Conference of Synagogue Youth and is a world-acclaimed lecturer and educator. As one of the most entertaining international Jewish speakers, he has been quoted in The New York Times as well as other national publications. Rabbi Orlofsky formerly lecturered at Ohr Somayach and is presently a lecturer at the Ohr Lagolah Leadership Institute in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Tzadok Suchard

Rabbi Tzadok Suchard

Rabbi Tzaddok Shmuel Suchard is a Dayan of the Beth Din of Johannesburg and for the past 36 years has been the spiritual head of the Beth Hamedrash Hagadol, Sandton – one of the fastest growing communities in South Africa.

Rabbi Suchard was born and educated in South Africa, and was one of the first minyan of students at Yeshiva College. He spent 11 years in Telshe Yeshiva, as a student and then as a Rebbe.  He received Smicha from Rabbi Chaim Mordedechai Katz. Receiving a call from South Africa, he returned as a senior lecturer at Yeshiva College and also was the founding Dean of Menora Girls High.

Rabbi Mordechai Suchard

Rabbi Suchard is the Founder and Director of Gateways and the son of a Rav and Dayan on the prestigious Johannesburg Beis Din. He studied in Telshe, Cleveland and Ponevezh. He received Smichah from the chief Rabbi and Av Beth Din of Jerusalemn, Rabbi Kulitz zt"l.

Rabbi Mordechai Becher

Rabbi Mordechai Becher

Rabbi Becher is a Senior Lecturer for Gateways and is originally from Australia. He lectured at Ohr Somayach College in Jerusalem for 15 years, served in the Israel Defense Forces and taught in training programs for rabbis and educators. Rabbi Becher received his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem. He has co-authored two books on contemporary issues in Jewish law and has responded to thousands of legal, ethical and philosophical questions on the “Ask the Rabbi.org” website. His latest book, “Gateway to Judaism”, published by Artscroll-Mesorah Press, is now in its fifth printing.

Mrs. Tzipora Harris

Tzipora is the founder of theClarity Seminar, a product of 21 years of research on pathways for spiritual and emotional well-being and successful relationships. These principles and insights have helped hundreds of women gain inner peace and clarity about their relationships and major life decisions. Originally from Israel, she completed a BA in psychology in NY. Tzipora and her husband, Rabbi Henry Harris, are part of the AishHaTorah center in Manhattan where they offer educational and social programs to Jewish professionals.

Rabbi Jonathan Rietti

Rabbi Jonathan Rietti

Rabbi Rietti is a Senior Lecturer for Gateways and is a descendant of the Sephardic leader the Ben Ish Chai and son of the famous British actor Robert Rietti. He received Smichah from Gateshead Yeshiva, after which he helped establish the now flourishing Kollel in Gibraltar. With a master's in education, he has practiced for 24 years as an educational consultant to parents of gifted children and those with ADD. He currently works in Brooklyn under Machon Daas Esvuna where he has partnered with Rabbi Meir Pogrow to train teachers using hands on chinuch methods steeped in Chazal based principles. Rabbi Rietti has authored over twenty nine lecture albums on topics including inner growth, health, parenting and Jewish identity.

Rabbi YY Rubinstein

Rabbi YY is one of the most sought after Jewish speakers in the Jewish World. He regularly speaks in the UK, United States, France Belgium, Gibraltar, South Africa and Israel. He is a regular broadcaster on National UK TV & Radio Four years ago the 'Independent' Newspaper cited him along with Tony Blair's Mentor, as being among five people in Britain to turn to for advice. He writes for 'HaModia' and is a senior lecturer for The Gateways Organization.

Rabbi Yonason Shippel

Rabbi Yonason Shippel

Rabbi Shippel is a Senior Lecturer for Gateways. A native of South Africa, Rabbi Shippel is a graduate of Columbia University, NY and Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore. Rabbi Shippel holds a Masters degree in Judaic Studies. After receiving his Rabbinical Ordination in Jerusalem, he founded a vibrant congregation, learning center and day school in Cape Town, South Africa. Rabbi Shippel has spoken in communities and on campuses throughout the world, where he shares his unique life experiences and practical advice for successfully integrating Ancient Traditions with 21st Century living.

Rabbi Jordan was born in Sydney, Australia and has served as Director of Operations for Gateways for the past 10 years. A graduate of Ohr Lagolah, a chinuch & rabbonus training program in Jerusalem, he received his Smichah from the Beth Din of Jerusalem.
